General Contest Rules

The outcome of the game will determine the winner in following with the Game Rules. If a score is tied then the game is a draw.

Axie Infinity contest could simply submit their public ronin address but all other games need to submit an accurate live stream link of the game or the channel that is streaming the game, add or put gamercontest.com along with the contest ID number (Example "GAMERCONTEST.COM ID: 801") on the title of the stream video, do not stream a contest in a live stream that has already been recording for more than 1 hour prior, which may make it difficult for judges to find and identify the game in the contest, do not delete or edit video until at least 1 day after results or dispute have been submitted, failure to do so may cause a dispute decision against your favor.

Game hacks are NOT allowed. You will be disqualified, not eligible to be the winner of that game and may be subject to a ban, and the reward may go to the other contestant

You have up until all gamer contestants are on ‘Ready’ status to cancel or unjoin the contest with no penalty and your entry fee will return to your Account Fund. If all gamer contestants are in “Ready” status, you must play the game and submit a result or dispute. It is your responsibility to pay attention and make sure you and other gamer contestants are on “Ready” status before starting the game.

Custom teams or players are not allowed unless it is acknowledged and agreed (Contest Creator puts it in the comments of the game invite and gamers accept contest)

Sometimes lagging can occur, make sure you have a strong internet connection to have a better chance of avoiding that. That is your responsibility. if your game is lagging and you do not feel comfortable playing like that then don’t start the game. If it lags during the game and maybe a network issue, both players are at that same disadvantage so the game must be played out unless all gamer contestants can come to an agreement and choose “no contest” for the results to cancel the game if they want to. If someone is found to be intentionally lagging then that person will be disqualified and ineligible to be the winner, and the reward may go to the other contestant

It is the responsibility of each contestant gamer to ensure that their connection is suitable for playing online.

If your game gets disconnected and you are unable to finish the current game then that would most likely result in a loss for you, unless the other gamer contestants are willing to start the game over and play a new contest. In that case, all gamers would agree to a "No Contest" result and create another contest and game.

If all contestant gamers get disconnected in the contest at the same time, and can not continue the current game, it's possibly a network error and should be ruled a "No Contest".

Continuously submitting wrong results or disputes in contests (i.e claiming you won when it’s obvious to us you lost, and no foul play occurred from other contestants) may subject your account from being banned and rewards lost.

Time Frame of a single game should be no longer than 1 hour, contestants may choose to play for that long or even longer if they choose; however, as a warning, if that game is being 'Disputed', the Gamer Contest Judge may use their discretion to base the winner or draw on the highest score in the game at that point of the 1 hour mark of game play rather than the end result of a single game that took 3 hours to finish for example . We recommend you avoid game settings that may cause a single game play to go over an hour.

It is your responsibility to understand these rules before playing and submitting a result. If you submit a result, the contest is over, and you want to change the result later or dispute the result because you did not understand the rules, it will not be changed and the result will stand.

Note: Keep in mind, you have a window of opportunity to change your submitted results IF the other gamer(s) have not all submitted the same result yet. However, we still advise you to be careful and sure when submitting a result because it can be too late to change, your computer could be slow on showing you the up to date result submissions on the back end.
